Connection doesn’t happen on its own. You have to design your gatherings for the kinds of connections you want to create
— Priya Parker, The Art of Gathering

We can get together better.

We humans love to get together. Even if we are introverts that spend more energy than we gain from being with others, we all need to connect with others, be in collective spaces and hear other people’s voices. Ever since I can remember I have loved bringing people together. I guess my mother taught me this: in her Sundanese style, she would host luscious feasts bringing unlikely groups of people together when I was growing up. And now, this is what I do.

Over the past 15 years, I have professionally hosted numerous inspirational design sessions, strategy meetings and multi-stakeholder processes. With Spring Strategies, we teach (in-person, virtual and hybrid) facilitation for better collaboration is the field of social change and climate justice. Alongside this, I have hosted Food for Thought Dinners, organized Fifteen Minutes of Fame weekends and officiated a wedding.
